          My name is Karl Craswell and I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome you to my website. I'm glad you've stopped by and hope you find the information you came looking for. I'm an owner/operator for Spring Salmon Fishing on the Restigouche.

          If you are looking for a fishing adventure, then join me and fish with the experience of a third generation guide along one of Canada's most famous salmon rivers, the Restigouche River. Craswell Guide Service is dedicated to making your fishing adventure a truly memorable experience.

          I grew up on the river and have devoted over thirty years of my life to fishing both privately and professionally with world-class salmon lodges.           I've also had a hand in designing many different flies such as the Boyd Special spring salmon fly as well as The Craswell Series. Some popular and very successful spring flies include the Renous Special, Magog Smelt and Silver Ryder. Notable summer flies include the Gray Rat, Rusty Rat, and Green Highlander.
